My Dr. prescribed antidepressants. I didn’t like the way I felt on them. Someone suggested exercise. I started working out with Yvette and ditched the meds! The hardest part was starting. I was afraid Yvette was going to be like Jillian Michaels and would be yelling at me. That was not the case. She is tough on you but in a positive encouraging way! When circumstances came and I wasn’t able to workout with her. I would do her 10 in 10 videos. She would always stay in contact with encouragement and advice! I was still only working out once or twice a week and eating whatever but still felt good. My aha moment came in May of 2014. I was at my grammar school reunion, someone mentioned that we would be turning 50 in 2015! That hit me like a ton of bricks! I decided then that I was going to be 50 and be in great shape! So now I’m still working out with Yvette one day a week but I also workout 5 days on my own. I watch what I eat and cut down my portion sizes. I never thought I had the time to do the workout but it’s only 40 minutes a day and I schedule it in my calendar just like any other appointment. I started in May weighing 146 lbs. and I now weigh 125lbs. I feel great and am ready for the big birthday! Thanks to Yvette for the inspiration!
