After your 30th birthday you will start to loss muscle mass. It is a slow process but will speed up around 50. How do you slow it down? Give resistance training a try because it will slow down the rate and preserve lean body mass. This is important because later in life the loss of muscle disuse is the major factors that contribute to major falls and accidents later in life.
