Everyone has heard of it, creating a bucket list of things you want to complete before you die. If we want to be able to fully enjoy these items for longer, we need to be healthy enough to actually follow through with them. So if you already have a your bucket list wrote, let’s start another separate list, a fitness bucket list. There are many fitness goals that I would like to achieve, sometimes it’s hard to keep on track to succeed and defeat all of them. Instead of making an impossible list of goals that you will become discouraged and give up on, start with 10 goals to complete in the next year.

Some great suggestions to get you started thinking about your fitness bucket list:

  • Complete 3 workouts a week in the YSF3 Gym
  • Run 1 mile without walking
  • Do 5 Pull Ups
  • Complete whole program of TurboFire
  • Run a 10 minute Mile
  • Do Insanity
  • Run a 5K, 10K or Marathon (or why not all three)
  • Master 3 Yoga Poses
  • 25 Pushups
  • Hold a plank pose for 60 seconds

Fitness Bucket List – Go from 0 to goal

You need to work your way up to running that marathon, holding that plank pose or doing the 5 pull ups. Whatever the goal is you need to set up a schedule to build up your endurance, then you will gradually increase how far you can run and how long you can hold the plank etc. There are great phone apps that you can download that will help you reach your goals.
